Button switch, also known as control button (button for short), is a kind of low-voltage electrical apparatus which can be reset manually and automatically. Button is usually used to send start or stop command in the circuit to control the electromagnetic starter, contactor, relay and other electrical coil current on and off. The button switch is a kind of electrical appliance which is used to turn on and turn off the small current circuit. It is generally used in the control circuit with AC and DC voltage below 440V and current less than 5A. It can also be used in the interconnection circuit without directly manipulating the main circuit. In actual use, in order to prevent misoperation, we usually make different marks or paint different colors on the buttons to distinguish them. The colors are red, yellow, blue, white, black, green and so on. Generally, red indicates the operation under the condition of "stop" or "danger"; Green means "on" or "on". The emergency stop button must be red mushroom head button. The button must have a metal retaining ring, and the retaining ring should be higher than the button cap to prevent accidental touch of the button and misoperation. The material of button board and button box for button installation must be metal and connected with the general grounding bus of the machine.
